Your numbers, nothing more.
We store a random identifier and the numbers you type into a tool. That is it.
Beta draft — pending legal review before public launch, including the POPIA information-officer details.
What we store
- A guest cookie (
mw.v) holding a random identifier, so the app can find your numbers again. It lasts up to 400 days and is renewed when you visit. - The numbers you enter — income, spending lines, retirement savings, salary, where you left the sliders — stored in our database, linked to that identifier.
- Nothing in your browser — no local storage, session storage or data cookies. The cookie holds only the random identifier.
- If you register: your email address and a protected password, so your numbers follow you to another device.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your data, and we do not pass it to product providers.
- We do not ask for your ID number, bank logins or account numbers.
- No advertising trackers on this site or in the app.
The quick-start forms
The “Now do it with your numbers” forms on this site send only the numbers you typed to the MaxWealth app, in the web address. The app saves them to your guest session and shows your summary.
Fonts
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
Keeping and deleting
You can delete your data yourself at any time from Account in the app: Delete all my data removes every number and keeps your session or login; Delete my account removes everything, including the login. You can also ask us via the contact page. Guest data that is not used will be deleted after a retention period, to be fixed before public launch.
